Supported living for adults
We provide care and support to adults living in their own homes, so you can live the life you choose, with the right help around you.
What is supported living?
Supported living means you live in your own home, on your own or sharing with others, and receive the care and support you need to live as independently as possible. Your home and your support are arranged separately: you usually have your own tenancy with a landlord or housing provider, and Pluto BV provides your support.
Because the home is yours, your support fits around your life. You decide how you spend your time, who you see and what matters to you, and we help you do it.

What support can include
- Personal care, delivered with dignity and at your pace
- Support with taking your medication safely
- Cooking, shopping, cleaning and looking after your home
- Managing money, bills and your tenancy
- Getting to health appointments and staying well
- Getting out into your community, including work, education and hobbies
- Keeping in touch with family and friends
- Building the confidence and skills to do more for yourself
The support you receive depends on your assessed needs and what you want to achieve. We agree it with you before it starts.
How we get started
- A first conversation. You, a family member, or a social worker or care coordinator gets in touch, and we talk through what you're looking for.
- Getting to know you. We meet you, and the people who support you, to understand your needs, your goals and how you like to live.
- Your support plan. Together we agree a person-centred support plan that sets out what support you'll get and how it will be delivered.
- Regular reviews. We review your support with you as things change, so it keeps fitting your life rather than the other way round.
Where we provide support
We're based in Northampton and provide supported living across [Your Coverage Area]. If you're not sure whether we cover your area, get in touch and we'll let you know.
Common questions
Who can get in touch?
Anyone. You can contact us yourself, or a family member, advocate, social worker or care coordinator can get in touch on your behalf.
How is supported living paid for?
Supported living is often funded by the local authority or the NHS following an assessment of your needs. Some people use a personal budget or direct payments, and some pay privately. We can talk you through the options.
Do I have to move?
Not necessarily. Supported living is support in your own home, so it can often be provided where you already live. If you're planning a move, we'll work alongside you, your family and your housing provider.
